YOUR ROLE Develop and implement strategic product development plans aligned with market needs and business objectives Plan and do physical lab work such as preparation of formulations, synthesis of intermediates and polymers, analysis & testing of batches, products, and competitor products Perform data analyses, draw conclusions, and make experimental recommendations Support scale-up, pilot, and customer trials Collaborate with cross-functional teams Participate in departmental activities such as boards, meetings, and committees Participate in product innovation by researching new technologies or methods to improve performance Create technical reports for product development projects Ensure high standards regarding safety, 5S, lab organization, and tidiness YOUR SKILLS Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field 5+ years professional experience in lab environment Adhesives and/or sealants formulating knowledge, ideally on Hot-Melts. Extrusion process experience is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting Familiarity with Project Management Stage-Gate process: ADP Proficient user of lab & inventory management cloud tools: ALBERT Experience in Data analysis & Statistics Professional English language level required, with German language knowledge as a plus At Henkel, we come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
