Product Engineer

Position Overview:
A Product Engineers role is an exciting blend of design, application engineering and customer support. You will help INFICON customers and internal field teams use product that you may have had a role in designing and at the same time get their feedback to improve it further. You will get a fascinating glimpse into the varied technological uses that INFICON customers and equipment are involved in, help develop completely new application and sometimes help initiate a new INFICON product when a solution does not exist!
Duties
- Customer relationship management
- Design and lead presentation and webinars
- Project management of small teams to solve complex problems
- Collaborate with customers
- Participate as member of R&D team on existing & new products and provide mechanical engineering assistance (design, drawing, and fabrication)
- Lead deployment of large customer installations or INFICON initiatives
- Leads troubleshooting and customer quality issue response teams
- Lead cross functional teams exploring new technologies or products or markets
- Lead projects associated with product engineering excellence (training/collateral etc.)
