Foxconn is seeking a Product Engineer to support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, production flow efficiency, and process improvements for notebook and L10 products. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth production operations, maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and leading continuous improvement projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise in manufacturing and quality processes, and experience with BOM (Bill of Materials) and SFC (Shop Floor Control) systems. This role requires a high degree of independence, strong communication and project management skills, and the ability to collaborate across engineering and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Product Introduction (NPI) Support: Lead and manage NPI activities for notebooks and L10 products.
  • Production Flow & SOP Maintenance: Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to optimize manufacturing workflows.
  • BOM & SFC Maintenance: Ensure accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and maintain Shop Floor Control (SFC) systems to support efficient production processes.
  • Production Issue Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve production issues, working closely with engineering and quality teams.
  • Process Improvements (Kaizen): Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and capacity.
  • Quality Assurance & Audits: Support ISO audits in collaboration with the quality team.
  • First Article Inspection (FAI) Leadership: Lead Notebook and L10 FAI activities to ensure product compliance with engineering and quality standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, quality, and production teams to align on process improvements and maintain high production standards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) required.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing, or quality engineering.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Experience with BOM, SFC, and production workflows.
    • Knowledge of BlackBox, Server, EFOX, UPS, and Microsoft Office.
  • Problem-Solving & Project Management: Strong ability to analyze production issues and drive process improvements.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and manage multiple projects.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze and refine production processes.
  • Independence & Leadership: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and lead projects with minimal supervision.
