It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!Provide technical leadership and program direction in all aspects of manufacturing engineering, such as Process, Equipment Maintenance and Product Performance with focus on optimizing line efficiency through improved yield, cycle times, process stability and line control.Interface effectively with other functional teams within Lumentum such as R&D, Product Engineering and Product Line Management to validate requirements and ensure process or technology milestones are clearly defined and achieved.Set up and qualify assembly and inspection processes such as optical alignment, optical assembly processes.Issue documents such as process flow, work instruction, control plan, visual aids and SPCLead team of engineers or technicians to solve instant manufacturing problems to achieve desired test results within limited time frame.Provide training to technician and operators.Supervise technicians to perform daily technical support and maintenance tasks.Ensure compliance to quality assurance processes and industry best practice.
