Currently MCi is expanding its product portfolio to other Automotive actuation solutions such as Active Aerodynamics & Motor cooling management.More information about the company is available here:To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Product Engineer (Support) located in Woerden, Netherlands.Reporting to the Manager Product Engineering Support, the Product Engineer (Support) will be in charge of optimizing and verifying precision mechanical actuators with embedded electronics and software (smart actuators) while supporting products in series production. Ensuring a smooth transition from New Product Introduction (NPI) to the Engineering Support team.What a typical day looks like:Responsible for the translation of project goals into cost-effective product solutionsLeading design, verification, and validation processes.Provide technical support for products in series productionResponsible for managing and coordinating the project team, including Product Designers and Test EngineersDeveloping and monitoring project plans with the Project Manager and stakeholders and preparing reports on project status, risks, and progress.Maintaining product documentation throughout its lifecycle.Applying quality and engineering tools (ISO/TS 16949, DFSS, DFMEA, 5S) to the design process.Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, customers, and suppliers.Overseeing product transition from NPI to the support engineering team.Resolving customer complaints and implement product improvements.responsible for translating project objectives and research concepts into product solutions with optimal price/performance ratiosThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:A completed degree in a relevant field such as mechatronicsKnowledge of electronics design and simulation toolsKnowledge of microcontrollers and embedded softwareKnowledge of mass PCBA & SW production techniques & controls.Knowledge of and experience with EMC specifications and testing is an advantageExperience with Automotive standards and Quality tools (ISO/TS 16949, DFMEA, etc.) and with problem resolution tools (e.g. 8D methodology)Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.Experience in supporting mass-produced products, resolving customer complaints, addressing supply chain requests, and implementing quality and process improvementsWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:Development possibilities and career pathways Open culture, you are welcome to share your ideas;Diverse work with wide-ranging tasks;Flexible working hours (core time 11-15);Hybrid work (max. 2 days from home/week);Professional work environment;8% holiday pay;A bonus plan;Discount on several insurances;50/50 pension contribution;This role is open for internal and external applications.AS108Job CategoryProduction EngineeringRequired Skills:Optional Skills:Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
