Product Quality Support Engineer\n\nWe're looking for a Product Quality Support Engineer to play a key role in reviewing technical specifications and design documents, delivering timely and meaningful feedback, and implementing quality plans. \n\nWhat You'll Do:\n\nIn this role, you'll take on a variety of exciting responsibilities, including:\n\n- Develop and manage quality control and assurance procedures, ensuring all contract requirements are met.\n\n- Review enquiry documents and prepare summary QA/QC documentation for quotation submissions.\n\n- Prepare and maintain product specifications, process procedures, and monitor approval records.\n\n- Create detailed Strip and Inspection Reports (SIRs) for customer approval.\n\n- Perform measurement tasks and control contract quality plans, ensuring real-time status updates.\n\n- Maintain NDE qualification records and manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) in nuclear-related projects.\n\n- Perform certification checks, material data safety assessments, and oversee sub-contract deliveries.\n\n- Monitor changes to QA compliance, integrating updates to relevant design codes (ASME, API, etc.).\n\n- Provide quality support across Sales, Operations, Production Engineering, Manufacturing, and Testing teams.\n\n- Lead or participate in supplier, internal, and external QA audits.\n\n- Maintain weld and welder qualifications and contribute to 5S area control on the shop floor.\n\n- Check material certifications and compile data books for customer projects.\n\nWhat You'll Need:\n\n- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role within a manufacturing environment.\n\n- Proficiency with standard measuring equipment and calibration processes.\n\n- Ability to interpret technical drawings and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and SolidWorks.\n\n- Full UK passport (single ) and a valid driving license.\n\nDesirable Skills/Experience:\n\n- Knowledge of GS3001 (RR Supplier Quality Management system requirements).\n\n- Experience in the aerospace or automotive industries.\n\n- Familiarity with pressure equipment regulations (IBR, PED).\n\n- Understanding of ASME I, VIII, V, II and ISO 9001, 14001 standards.\n\n- Internal and external auditing experience.\n\n- PCN Level II or III (Liquid Dye Penetrant) certification.\n\n- Experience with Epicor Systems (job planning).\n\nWhy Join Our Client?\n\n- Competitive salary and benefits package.\n\n- Flexible working hours.\n\n- Excellent training and career development programs.\n\n- Generous holiday allowance with the option to purchase additional days.\n\n- Contributory pension plan with life assurance.\n\n- Employee recognition reward schemes.\n\n- Healthcare plan offering cash back on medical services (optician/dental).\n\n- Virtual GP services and employee assistance programs.\n\n- Cycle-to-work scheme and a wide range of employee discounts, including gyms, retailers, and more
