Production Engineer – Overview:\n\n We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join our client based in Coventry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC milling and be proficient in 5-axis offline programming. The candidate should also possess expertise in using CAD/CAM software to create efficient and effective machining processes.\n\nProduction Engineer – Responsibilities:\n\nDevelop and optimise CNC milling programs for 5-axis machines using CAD/CAM software.\nCollaborate with the production team to ensure efficient and accurate machining processes.\nTroubleshoot and resolve any programme-related issues to maintain production continuity.\nConduct periodic reviews and adjustments to existing CNC programs to enhance productivity and quality.\nWork closely with the design and engineering teams to interpret and implement technical drawings and specifications.\nAnalyse and interpret technical drawings and 3D models to develop CNC milling programs.\nCollaborate with production and design teams to implement efficient machining strategies. \n\n Production Engineer – Requirements:\n\nProficiency in CNC milling with a focus on 5-axis machining.\nExperience in offline programming for CNC milling machines.\nProficient in using CAD/CAM software to develop and optimise machining processes.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities. \n\n Production Engineer – Salary & Benefits:\n\n£35,000pa - £45,000pa\nPension\n39hrs a week\nOvertime available\nGenerous Holiday + Bank holidays\nHow to Apply\nApply now or for more information on the Production Engineer role, call/message James at Holt Engineering on (phone number removed)
