Job Overview

* The role of Production Engineer provides a support function to all areas of production.

* Your expertise will optimize and improve process capability and yield

* You’ll provide support with routings, programmes, tooling, fixtures and technical support

* You’ll provide support with BOM’s, production orders and costings

* For this role, you’ll need to be conversant with Solidworks, CAD CAM and SAP

About You

* Machining biased apprenticeship up to HNC/HND level in Mechanical/Production Engineering

* Experience of 4 and 5 axis machining techniques and CNC Lathes

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Project management experience

* Whist we need a good team player, you’ll also be comfortable working on your own initiative

* Excellent communication skills are required as you’ll be dealing with lots of other people in the business
