Production Engineer / CAD Engineer

At A1 Flue Systems, we're industry leaders in the design, manufacture, and installation of commercial and industrial flue systems, and we pride ourselves on delivering top-quality products across the UK. We’re looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Engineer/ CAD Engineer to join our team at our production plant. This role is integral to our operations, focusing on creating production drawings, managing machine programs, and optimizing our manufacturing processes.



Key Responsibilities:



Produce detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for production.



Generate programs and DXF files for laser/plasma cutting machines.



Maintain and improve production technology and factory layouts.



Create and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) and cycle times.



Assist in the development of new product lines and machinery.



Work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure seamless production processes.



Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (1-hour lunch break)

Requirements:



Proficiency in AutoCAD (both 2D and 3D) is essential.



Experience with production processes, preferably in a factory setting.



Competence in managing Bill of Materials and using spreadsheets for production planning.



Ability to work onsite every day in an open office and factory environment.
