Piper Maddox is partnering with an innovative battery manufacturer in Northern Europe, at the forefront of Li-ion battery technology for Energy Storage Systems.

As they gear up for production and plan three gigafactories, they are seeking a talented and ambitious Cell Production Manager to lead the operations of their cutting-edge Cell Factory.

Responsibilities include:

⚡ Lead production operations, including planning, scheduling, workforce management, and logistics, ensuring alignment with customer demands.
⚡ Monitor and report on KPIs, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and manage the MES system and equipment maintenance.
⚡ Oversee all plant logistics activities, including inbound, warehousing, plant, and outbound operations.

Your background and requirements:

✔ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with 5+ years in high-volume production (battery, automotive, or food packaging industries).
✔ Experience in scaling operations, managing quality control, and leading teams of 50+ employees, with knowledge of Norwegian workplace regulations.
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Minitab, and strong data analysis skills; capable of working in clean room and low humidity environments.
✔ Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, quality systems (PFMEA, SPC, IATF16949, 6Sigma), excellent communication, and time management skills.
