Production Manager – Metal Fabrication
Location: Birmingham Area
Salary: $85,000 – $105,000 (based on experience and skill set)
Position Type: Direct Hire

We are a well-established, stable, and growing manufacturer in the metal fabrication industry, seeking a Production Manager to oversee our fabrication processes. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Manage and direct sheet metal manufacturing processes including Laser Cutting, Forming, Welding, and Laser Painting.

·         Lead and guide a team of Leads and hourly personnel to meet or exceed operational goals.

·         Oversee fabrication processes in a metal-working setting with a focus on improving fabrication performance.

·         Report directly to the Director of Operations.

·         Work closely with top management, employees, customers, and vendors to ensure operational success.

Qualifications:

·         10+ years of supervisory/management experience in a manufacturing environment.

·         In-depth knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes and materials.

·         Strong background in lean and quality manufacturing systems.

·         Experience with powder paint lines is a plus.

·         Proven track record in driving excellence and implementing effective change.

·         Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to present information clearly to top management, employees, customers, and vendors.
