Production Operator

Job Description:



We are looking for a Production Operator to join our book publishing team in Kiln Farm, Milton Keynes. This role involves a mix of book binding, picking and packing orders, and general support on the production line.



You will work on a 3-days on, 3-days off rotation, and you will need to work one Saturday a month. The rota will be given in advance.



Type: Ongoing Position

Hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (3 days on, 3 days off)

Availability: Must be able to work one Saturday a month

Rota: Provided in advance



Key Duties:



* Book Binding: Use machines to bind books and check for quality.



* Picking and Packing: Pick and pack book orders accurately.



* Line Support: Help on the production line, move materials, and keep the line running smoothly.



* Manual Handling: Lift and move boxes and books as needed.



* Health & Safety: Follow safety rules and keep the area clean and tidy.



Requirements:



* No previous experience needed, but experience in a production or warehouse role is a plus.



* Physically fit and able to lift and move items.



* Good attention to detail.



* Team player who can follow instructions.



* Flexible to work one Saturday a month.
