Production Operator

Production Operator - Corner Bead Swing ShiftRole & Responsibilities:Adhere to all safety/housekeeping requirements within a manufacaturing setting. Responsible for operating production equipment, including troubleshooting and making the necessary adjustments to ensure product and quality specifications are met. Responsible for recording production data and quality results with attention to detail. Apply basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills to help service equipment. Expected to take an active role in all plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives.Assist with inventories as needed. Adaptable to scheduling changes including assignment of overtime, weekend work, etc.Qualifications & Requirements:Able to work in a manufacturing environment in a safe manner and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules.Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment. Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions. Ability to apply basic computer skills required for dats entry and production reporting.Proficiency at taking measurements needed to ensure product meets specifications.Possess basic maintenance skills including the use of basic hand tools.Effective and positive teamwork and communication skills needed with all co-workers.Ability to take direct instructions from supervision.Strong attention to detail.Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
