The Company\nA UK leading electronic manufacturer is seeking an experienced a Production Planner to join the growing team.\n\nThe Role\nThis position’s primary focus will be to manage capacity planning through Epicor and schedule the Surface Mount (SMT) and Conventional (PTH) build plans ensuring service levels are capable of achieving timely delivery and complete customer satisfaction in every facet of the manufacturing & commercial commitments.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nManage capacity planning through Epicor.\n\nSchedule and own Surface Mount and Conventional build plans/schedules, monitoring and reporting against them.\n\nDrive the process to start the job on time, escalating any issues that would stop this from happening.\n\nProviding product delivery dates to Account Managers.\n\nMaintaining Job start dates on Epicor in line with materials, engineering readiness information and any change notes and keeping the Account Managers updated.\n\nMaintain ship dates in line with both the current capacity plan and production schedules.\n\nMonitor the accuracy of the sales order book and report any concerns to account management.\n\nMaintain open Job accuracy and request jobs be closed when necessary.\n\nSupport on time in full (OTIF) for regular running products and on-time delivery (OTD) reports for customers.\n\nThe Candidate\nQualified to degree level, or good level of higher education.\nDemonstrable manufacturing industry experience in planning and job management\nKnowledge of EPICOR Kinetic or V10 or similar ERP system\nA good understanding on electronics manufacturing processes\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nExcellent attention to detail\nProactive and flexible approach\nDetermined problem owner who will see it resolved.\nExcellent MS Office & ERP Skills\n\nThe Package\nThe salary offered for this position is £40,000- £50,000 to candidates who can meet all key qualifications and abilities.\n\nWe operate & advertise as an Employment Agency for permanent positions and as an Employment Business for contract/temporary positions
