Production Planner - 9 month fixed term contract
We currently have exciting opportunities for a Production Planner to join our team in Thetford
This is a 9 month Fixed term contract with the potential to move to a permanent role.

The hours of work and shift patterns are: 06.00-18.00, 4on 4off
The rate of pay is: £17.65 per hour Main Responsibilities:
Factory Based, Manage the sales and order processing for the site; Creating Fry and Pack plans, ensuring that all production activities are scheduled in a timely manner to fulfill customer demand and maintain & 98.5% service level.
Role will be cross functional and require you to be able to do Meat Scheduling, Materials Scheduling as well as Production Scheduling and duties related to inventory management, but full training will be given.
Ideal Candidate:
Work in close partnership with production team as well as planning to ensure efficient planning of factory production.
Manage SOP to ensure correct & timely completion of customer orders.
To act as key liaison, point between sales and ops to address fluctuation in order volume.
Manage WIP and finished goods working capital to agreed levels.
To support and actively participate in continuous improvement activities to improve the site performance in all areas of the business
To support other planning team functions where necessary. Package Description:
