Job Summary:
The Production Planning Manager is responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of production schedules across multiple manufacturing plants in various states. This role requires a strong background in supply chain management, production planning, and procurement workflows.
Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in supply chain, program management, production planning, purchasing, or a closely related field.

Experience working with integrated planning and production management systems.

Strong understanding of procurement, subcontract execution workflows, and general manufacturing processes.

Knowledge of production lines setup, workflows, shift schedules, and output optimization.

Proficiency in forecasting and planning with an emphasis on execution.

Experience with planning systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of managing complex projects.

Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external business partners at all levels.

Capable of working under limited supervision; self-motivated and proactive.

Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Master's degree .
Job Responsibilities:
-
Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met and mitigation plans are developed to address risks related to suppliers, production, or inventory.

Develop and execute material strategies while advising Sales, Procurement, and Logistics teams on capacity, timeframe, and order fulfillment outlook.

Ensure that before program execution, all elements of proposed plans have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, and make/buy plans.

Lead supply chain program execution, managing resource planning, material costs, forecasting, schedule performance, risk management, and supplier performance.

Develop and execute production plans and schedules to optimize manufacturing efficiency, minimize lead times, and meet customer delivery requirements.

Maintain and enhance capacity models for current and future strategic planning.

Lead project teams to execute plans effectively and adjust when necessary to meet deadlines.

Coordinate with international manufacturing plants and import/export partners for sourcing products from locations in France and Thailand.

Plan, schedule, and manage raw material sourcing to align with production and sales plans.

Work closely with Operations for production forecasting, staffing needs, storage, and transportation logistics.

Monitor project risks and implement contingency plans as needed.

Ensure that project deliverables meet required quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
