The Role:
As a Production Supervisor you will manage a team of operatives within a machine build environment. You will deal with any issues from disciplinaries, shift rotas, appraisals, training schedules and upskilling staff. All people management issues will come under your remit so a strong ability to manage a team of people is essential. A background within plastics or FMCG manufacturing is also ideal
* Shift leadership of a team of 10.
* Participate in compliance audits supporting the maintenance of external accreditations.
* Contribute to creating and implementing a best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
* Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Manufacturing activities.

Undertake continuous training and development
The candidate:
* Production Supervisory/Team Leader experience
* Experience working within FMCG manufacturing, ideally plastics
* Other manufacturing experience considered
* Strong people management experience
* Happy working a rotating shift pattern
* Six Sigma understanding or similar ideal
* Proven man management qualification ideal
* 5 S experience (ideal)
