Production Supervisor
- Consumer products manufacturing facility has a rare opening due to a retirement that is happening in August
- Located at the largest and most important operation within a network of 10 plants throughout North America

- Salary range is 90K – 105K, based on education and experience
Responsibilities
- Supervise plant production line workers with an emphasis on teamwork, safety and excellent practices to produce the highest quality products
- Manage a team of 10-15 hourly employees across multiple automated packaging and processing lines
- Utilize lean and six-sigma principles to implement continuous improvement methodologies to increase production
- Analyze production runs and make suggestions for improvement
- Manage, evaluate and train staff by coaching, conducting performance appraisals, administering corrective action, and training
- Identify issues related to quality, safety, down time, production problems or any other unexpected issues.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree required. Preferred in Operations Management, Organizational Leadership, Business, Engineering or similar
- 5+ years of manufacturing supervision experience, open to any high-speed packaging or food industry
- Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, six-sigma or other continuous improvement tools
- Former military veterans are a plus
- Good attitude, hardworking, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to think outside the box and use root cause analysis to solve problems
- Able to work in a high-speed facility with the capability of tracking KPI's, efficiencies and implementing lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
- Computer literate in spreadsheet and word applications
- Bi-lingual English / Spanish is a plus
- Union experience is a plus
