HOURS: 14:30-22:30 Monday-Friday, Permanent Role

SALARY: £30,190/52

BASE: S&S Plastics, Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire

We are currently recruiting for a Production Supervisor based at our S&S Plastics site in Sutton in Ashfield - with close connections to the M1 (J28) and A38.



As a Production Supervisor you are accountable to supervise, lead and develop a team of operatives and processes to deliver a safe, compliant, and efficient operation in line with targets, budgets and plans.



WHAT OUR PRODUCTION SUPERVISORS DO:



Lead and motivate your team through role modelling the Company values of Gritty, Proud, Decent and Agile

Ensure compliance of all mandatory operator training and development is continuously carried out

Ensure conformance to plan (CTP) and plan achievement (PA) targets are achieved

Adhere to all operational policies, processes, SOP's and Work instructions

Coach and monitor operators in line with production KPI's

Adhere to Company manufacturing quality standards and Implementation of continuous improvement initiatives

Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders

Investigate all reported SHE incidents and implement relevant containment, corrective and preventative action plans are in place

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR PRODUCTION SUPERVISORS



Excellent communication, with the ability to engage and develop Operatives

Confident in conveying messages and expectations, for example, expected KPIs and behaviours

Previous experience of managing and developing a team within a Manufacturing/Production operation

Ability to deliver business change and continuous process improvements along with budgets and resource planning

Confident to produce accurate KPI updates and reports

Have a robust understanding of Health and Safety principles and commitment to delivering high standards
