Production Supervisor

We currently have a brand new opportunity for an experience production supervisor to join a market leading Fabrication company in the greater walsall area.



Working on a static day shift with overtime available some of the key duties for the position are outlined below.



Duties:



* Liaise with management team on production planning and quality control



* Assigning, and directing production work.



* Maintaining organization and discipline.



* Monitoring health & safety in the workplace.



* Issuing work / jobs packages.



* Promote and monitor quality awareness.



* Promote teamwork and communication.



* Assist in maintaining security of the building and contents.



* Assist in training new starters / apprentices.



Essential Skills:-



* Previous experience as a Production Supervisor



* Fabrication & Welding knowledge



* Being able to read & interpret engineering drawings.



* Excellent man management



* Working on own initiative
