Production Supervisor

Job Description

Our client is a Leeds based Manufacturing business looking to appoint a Production Supervisor with continuous improvement / lean methodology training. The Production team is made up of 15 Operatives/Machines Operators, so having experienced managing a team of this size would bode well. The successful Production Supervisor must have 3D CAD experience and ideally have experience programming machines.

\n \n Production Supervisor - Role and Responsibilities\n  - Lead a team of 15-20 operatives (sometimes more with the addition of agency staff at peak times) to meet KPI targets\n  - Manage continuous improvement projects and take the lead on individual line business improvement practices\n  - Liaise with maintenance, design and quality to maintain currently high OEE level and meet production targets for volume and quality\n\n-Use CAD 3D \n \n Production Supervisor - Skills and Abilities\n  - HNC/HND in an engineering discipline\n  - Experience of plastics industry / extrusion / injection moulding\n  - Formal lean / continuous improvement training\n \n Does this sound like your next role?
