Role                                        :           ProductionSupport Engineer

Location                                 :           Sunnyvale, CA & Austin,TX

Duration                                 :           06 Months Plus

Visa                                         :           USC & GC only (As per EC requirement)

EndClient                              :           Confidential tillresume selection

Rate                                         :           $52 on CTC.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Must have excellentexperience with Relational Databases (Oracle SQL ). Working knowledgeof NoSQL (Cassandra, Kafka) good to have.

·        Experience of workingfor 3-4 yrs as a Java / Back-end developer

·        Sound knowledge onJava / J2EE internals (ClassLoading, Memory Management, Transaction managementetc)

·        Experience in makingapplications production ready and deploying using Docker, Kubernetes

·        Experience with GITfor version control

·        Must have worked inproduction environment, handling tickets, resolving production and releaseissues by debugging Java code and / or working with development teams. 

·        Must have experienceworking with Linux environments (Red Hat, CentOS) and automated releaseswith Shell scripting (Bash, Python)

·        Strong knowledge of HTTPstatus codes, ability to clearly distinguish between errors

·        Experience in tickethandling and management tools (Jira, ServiceNow, …). On call and 24/7support experience desired.

·        Experience withmonitoring tools (Splunk highly ), ability to create alerts and set updashboards, resolve application issues and perform code debugging. 

Will be working onProduction support, Releases for application and software on a day to daybasis.
