Program Director

Are you an experienced leader with managerial, eventing and administrative skills motivated to join a non-profit community organization that promotes the health and wellness of the English-speaking Black community from infants to seniors? The Program Director will report directly to our Executive Director, leading a small team. In this role the successful candidate will be in charge of the effective delivery of our Mental Health (MH), Youth Protection (YP) and Increasing Access to Services (IAS) programs. This includes the planning and supervision of every aspect of these programs from the inception of each program to budgeting, executing and evaluation. This is a key leadership role at the heart of the organization that requires agility and interaction with multiple internal and external stakeholders. If you think you are the right candidate for this role, please don't hesitate to send you resume at dorine.sportouch@randstad.ca Advantages ● Flexible work schedule ( 35 hrs/week) ● 3 days a week in office / 2 days at home ● Health benefits ● 2 weeks paid vacation off for Christmas ● 3 weeks vacation, 5 paid sick days, 5 paid personal days Responsibilities ● Ownership of the delivery of the following programs: MH, YP & IAS ● Programs roadmaps, inception and modification ● Assigning responsibilities within the team ● Managing and tracking budget ● Organizing and leading scrum meeting ● Organizing and leading post mortem meetings ● Developing and measuring Key Performance Indicators ● Production of reports and documentation for executive and stakeholder review ● Budget forecast ● Scorecard ● Executive summary ● Research and stay in touch with best practices and government initiatives that directly benefit our programs ● Participate in round tables and create connections with our institutions and community organizations ● Advocate for institutional change and serve as an external ambassador for the organisation. Qualifications About You ● Passionate about empowering English-speaking Black families in Montreal and equipping them with the tools to navigate health and social services. ● Compassionate and dedicated professional with a deep commitment to improving the well-being of others. ● Possess professional or lived experience that gives you a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by this community. ● Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues and other Professionals What you need to succeed ● Bachelor’s degree in social work, social services, special care counseling, youth work or an equivalent ● Experience working with diverse populations and embodying cultural competency ● 7-10 years of experience building programs in a non-profit environment ● Proven ability to effectively facilitate, lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage projects ● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal ● Skilled at building relationships ● Strong self-motivation, agility, and business acumen ● Strong sense of initiative, resourcefulness and ability to operate in complexity ● Knowledge of community resources and the ability to connect clients with appropriate services ● Experience building executive summary including financial metrics and KPIs ● Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant softwares.
