If Masterâs degree is not in Nursing, a Bachelor degree in Nursing is required, and Current nursing (RN) license in the North America, Western Europe, Australia/New Zealand, andSeven (7) years of acute care hospital experience including four (4) years in a leadership role.Current experience working in the specialty area.Department InformationThe OB/GYN Clinic/Antepartum-Postpartum & Newborn Nursery (A-1)/Labor & Delivery (L&D) provide prenatal & perinatal care to ante- and post-partum women and newborns.The Gynecology/Oncology Clinics provide consultation and continuing care for a wide spectrum of conditions including menstrual complaints, menopausal symptoms, pelvic pain, vulvar abnormalities,uterine myomas, abnormal pap smears and uterine bleeding.Average monthly patient visits to the clinic: 1600-2200Average monthly deliveries are 115 per month, with a 65% high-risk patient population.The clinic consists of: 3 Nurse's station8 examination rooms2 interview rooms,4 nurse rooms: assessment/clinic/NST3 rooms in the OB Ultrasound Department2 Procedure rooms.No of Beds in A-1: 26 + Newborn NurseryNo. Of Beds L&D: 5 Labor/Delivery2 Surgical Suites2 Recovery & 2 High Dependency1 Perinatal Lab2 Triage5 Induction/ObservationNurse Patient Ratio: 1:1 1:2-3 in L&D1:4-6 in A-1NHPPD: 17.7 in L&D6.0 in A-1
