Program Manager
Job Summary: Program Manager - Risk Manager The Program Manager—Risk Manager will support initiatives at the Savannah River Site (SRS) in Aiken, SC, by overseeing and managing programs to uncover, assess, and develop new missions and technologies. The role involves strategic planning, program implementation, risk management, and fostering partnerships to enhance SRS capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Manage processes to identify, evaluate, and implement new programs, technologies, and missions at SRS. Develop and promote initiatives, including "Centers of "Excellence" corporations" research agreements and new business ventures aligned with DOE objectives in defense, environment, and technology transfer. Oversee risk management processes for DOE NNSA Capital Projects, ensuring compliance with DOE regulations (DOE O413.3B and DOE G413.3-7A). Work with stakeholders to identify, qualify, and manage project risks involving Secret Restricted Data. Facilitate risk-related meetings, prepare risk management reports, and address feedback from assessments. Project tools like Active Risk Manager (ARM) and Smart Plant Foundation (SPF) should be applied to support the risk management process. Education and Experience Requirements: Master's technical field with 16 years of experience in engineering, operations, marketing, and strategic/business planning, or an MBA with a technical undergraduate degree and 16 years of experience. TA technical bachelor's degree with 20 years of relevant experience is also acceptable. Minimum Qualifications: Strong ability to work in diverse environments. Successful completion of pre-employment screening (background check and drug test). Familiarity with DOE clearance processes, with preference for candidates with an active DOE clearance (L or Q) in the past two years. Desired Skills: Proficiency in integrated project tools like ARM, Safran, Microsoft Teams, WebEx, and SPF. Experience in managing risk-related reporting, stakeholder communication, and compliance with DOE standards.
