Salary - $100,000 - $125,000

My client works within the Electronic Consumer Product space and they are looking to take on a Program Manager in the Rochester, MI area.

Strong experience in the development of smart connected products is desired.

Those with experience in full Program Management for multi-million dollar consumer electronic products will be a fantastic fit.

The client is particularly interested in hiring individuals with a passion for innovating and constantly driving improvement within complex product ranges.

The Program Manager will have the following attributes:

• 4+ years' experience in product or program management, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record in leading Projects comprising of multiple contributors / departments in order to deliver cost effective results.
• PMP certification.
• IoT, Embedded and Hardware Engineering experience.
• Experience in product lifecycle management.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Proven track record in driving growth, design-ins and execution of commercial programs.
• Hardware Engineering experience.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The Program Manager's role will involve:

• Owning and Leading a multi-million dollar product line within the Consumer Electronics sector.
• Communicating to multiple parties and leading through 'stage gate processes' for the development of a physical product.
• Taking complex Electronic systems from ideation to launch.
• Defining product requirements and specifications based on market research and customer feedback.
• Managing project timelines and work closely with production to ensure on-time delivery.
• Enabling and supporting NPD/NPI focused on providing target requirements and specifications.
• Conducting market analysis and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities for product improvement.
• Working closely with marketing and sales teams to develop effective strategies for product promotion and sales growth
