Position Title: Program Manager - Harness Systems

Duration: Contract

Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite in Woking Surrey

Essential Criteria:

• Experienced in Hybrid or Electric vehicle HV harness system specification, design & delivery.
• Experienced in requirements capture in automotive applications.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of the system, while working closely with colleagues on the specification, design & timely delivery of a HV harness programme.
• Good communication & interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities / Deliverables:

• Mass status correct and up-to-date in SAP system, if not at Powertrain Chief Engineer's target, glide path & actions included in project timing plan.
• Piece price status correct and up-to-date in SAP system, if not Programme Manager's target, glide path & actions included in project timing plan.
• Investment status correct and up-to-date in VTC, if not Programme Manager's target, glide path & actions included in project timing plan.
• CAD Design of Record (DoR) aligned with latest production design intent
• Mass, piece price, project investment and DoR contents are self-consistent
• QCR raised within 5 working days for any component failure at any supplier or during vehicle build/testing
• All changes to, rationale for and supporting evidence for, the system requirements and specification, including component selection & design, are captured in the Clients' Technical Specification format
• Maintain project timing plan to communicate project status, required deadlines & supplier feedback to all stakeholders
• Maintain programme DVP with latest planned test timing and results
• Confirm piece price & investment cost are within the budget as agreed with Programme Manager & correct in SAP for all components
• Confirm mass status of production design aligned with Chief Engineer's target & correct in SAP for all components
• All QCRs are contained & have a countermeasure plan approved in the Client system which supports a clean build of the next vehicle phase & subsequent testing. Requirement, specification or design changes captured in approved TS update.
• Additional Information: HV harness system TS updated with all current design & system requirements
• Audit report of current design against updated TS
• Electric Drive System DFMEA updated to reflect current TS & approved by Powertrain Chief Engineer, actions cascaded into DVP
