Children’s Cardiology, a subsidiary of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, is comprised of more than 60 pediatric cardiologists providing comprehensive services for patients from before birth to 21 who have acquired or congenital heart disease. The Project Administrator assists with the daily operations of the Project Office department with an emphasis on company process improvement and project coordination.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of administrative experience required; healthcare and/or project management experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through discipline.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and engage with all levels within the organization.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess a high level of confidentiality.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee planning, implementation, and tracking of deliverables for assigned projects that vary in size and complexity.
  • Effectively lead project management activities from beginning to end, developing action plans, oversee project scopes, and support implementation of various projects.
  • Develop project management documents such as stakeholder analysis, budgets, schedules, scope of work, project charters, and action plans.
  • Manage project tasks including coordinating meeting plans and logistics, meeting agendas and minutes, invoicing and purchase orders, communications, and ordering supplies.
  • Coordinate distribution of project resources to ensure the project team is prepared.
  • Monitor progress of projects and provide updates to management and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain all documents for projects to include files, records, spreadsheets and reports according to the scope of work.
  • Collaborate with departments for training and presentations.
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
