GSE is currently seeking a Project Analyst to join the International Engagement teamin Alexandria, VA. This position will be working with US government agencies and the military services, with an emphasis on the Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Cooperative Threat Reduction Directorate (CTR). Candidates must possess the drive, dedication, adaptability, and integrity to successfully assist our client(s) with achieving their strategic goals and fulfilling the organization's policy and strategy requirements.
To be qualified, the candidate MUST be a US citizen with ability to receive a DoD Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities assigned to this position include:
- The individual will perform professional technical writing of pre-deployment reporting documentation, after action reporting, and other analytical documentation, as required.
- The individual will be responsible for performing logistics tracking and coordination pertinent to the implementation of international Health Security Trainings
- The individual may attend meetings, track action items, provide meeting minutes, and interface with Government customers on a regular basis.
- Other duties may include preparing miscellaneous presentations, assisting with the management and tracking of other project data, and supporting business development/growth efforts, as required.
Core Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- History of providing strong writing, editing, and proofreading of technical documents. Examples include user manuals, reports, and training materials
- Experience in developing meeting minutes and tracking project action items
- Experience in efficient team coordination and communications
- Track record of reliable and consistent work ethic
- Experience working on complex projects
- History of working on a deadline with ability to adapt to evolving client requests
Experience:
2+ Years of professional experience
Secret DoD Clearance
Experience in International affairs, DoD, State Department, or Security Cooperation
Familiarity or direct experience with project management principles and best practices
