Project Analyst (Navy/DoD)
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionTHOR Solutions is actively seeking a Project Analyst to support the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) group from Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) in Panama City, FL. The Specialist should possess experience working with technical drafting or editing of documents, such as test plans, meeting notes, action item lists, and supporting various program office data calls and updating agendas and finalizing details for various events.
Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following:
- Use tools and resources, such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and Navy specific databases, such as NEPS and TEMPR, to create and update program slides and Gantt Charts, including status briefings for the Division, Department, and Command levels.
- Ensure clients accomplish project goals within budget.
Location: Fully onsite at local NSWC PCD (Panama City, FL), and telework as approved by government.
Typical Physical Activity: Primarily desk/computer work in an office environment. May involve: repetitive motion.
US Citizenship Required: Due to the requirements of the federal contract that this position supports, U.S. citizenship is required. Citizenship will be confirmed via I-9/E-Verify at the start of employment.
Existing Secret Security Clearance Required: This position requires a DoD Secret security clearance. Only candidates with existing full or interim Secret security clearances will be considered.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- High school diploma/GED equivalent.
- A higher degree (such as a Bachelors) is .
- At least three (3) to five (5) years of recent, relevant professional experience providing programmatic, financial, or administrative support.
- Experience obtained in a US Navy/DoD environment is .
- Experience with NEPS, TEMPR, program and financial management is .
- Strong proficiency with common productivity software including Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
- Ability to respond to requests that require quick turn-around.
- Ability to create accurate documentation, reports, whitepapers, and briefings.
- Excellent communication skills.
