Project Architect
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLeading architectural and engineering firm is adding a Project Architect to their Milwaukee team!
Responsibilities:
- Provide input in the development of design and building performance strategy for project team
- Contribute to project technical design effort
- Develop appropriate research and documents to find creative and innovative solutions to assigned tasks
- Contribute to the preparation of design documents
- Review show drawings, material samples, and CD’s for design conformance
- Assist with coordination/integration of project deliverables and support the design concept and performance goals of the project
- Perform construction administration duties
- Prepare reports/specifications
- Review completed reports, plans, cost estimates and calculations
- Execute agency review analysis
- Participate in client meetings and presentations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture
- Master’s degree
- 5+ years of experience and includes working on small- to large-scale project types
- Architectural registration required
- Strong graphics skills
- Proficient in Revit
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and other industry accepted software
- Familiarity with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite products
- Understanding of the healthcare industry, especially in areas of clinical innovation, operational improvement, planning and strategic positioning for complex hospital systems
- LEED accreditation
- Experience with Lean and Evidence-based design
Salary is commensurate with experience.
