Project Architect - Architecture

JOB OVERVIEW:

The candidate will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of the construction documentation and quality control of drawings. They will be responsible for leading the technical team including in-house staff and external consultants on drawings.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 4-6 years minimum experience from transferable industry
• Goal-oriented, sense of ownership, and willingness to excel. A person who can help the company grow through quality work and service.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents and permit set submittal process.
• Capable of overseeing multiple projects and production team.
• Ability to understand, coordinate, and lead project engineers and consultants.
• Working knowledge of construction types I, II, and III.
• Knowledgeable in IBC and CBC codes.
• Positive supervision and training of technical staff.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office programs
• Positive, out-going, energetic and fun team player who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment
• Superior verbal, written, graphic communication and organization skills
• Passion for providing exceptional client service
• Proven ability to function in all phases of the project development from schematic design through project closeout
• Deep knowledge of technical design and documentations requirements
• Knowledgeable in LEED

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Related Field
• Architectural License a bonus
