Project Control Manager

We are looking for a Project Control Manager for one of our clients with the following details:

Starting date: October 2024

Location: Italy in Contractor's office during FEED (6-8 months) with missions to Iraq, then based in Iraq

Renewable: 1 year, renewable

Work Status : Resident and Rotation

Qualifications/Experience required

  • We are looking for the project control Leader in onshore project with a very good knowledge of Project Control Tools and reporting system.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering field.
  • 10+ years' experience in project controls for Gas project in complex environment.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to enable effective discussion and transfer of information between, contractors, team members and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to use MS Office, in particular MS Excel and MS Project and /or Primavera.
  • Team player with ability to work collaboratively across complex project teams and interface between interdisciplinary departments and within an international team.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Professional Experience (number of years): 15 - 20
  • Experience of contract, cost control, Cost Estimate, planning and project administration/control (number of years): 5 - 10

Goals

  • The Project Control Manager is responsible to establish and manage the Project Control activities across all project phases (Detail Engineering, execution, as per Project Strategy (Budget & Schedule), Project execution plan (PEP) and project governance procedures for project.
  • The Project Control Manager shall ensure that JV policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures are enforced and shall take any action necessary to maintain the quality of Project Control activities to the highest level.

Activities

  • To assist the EGE Project Manager in the organization, management, and control of the Project
  • To assist in the definition, establishment, and organization of the Project.
  • To perform, supervise, co-ordinate and control all necessary Project Controls activities for works which are related to EGEP development.
  • Using TE Rules, OT/TL/PJC Guidelines, Procedures and best work practices establish a set of Project specific procedures to cover the co-ordination and control of Project Control activities.
  • To control the preparation and review of the initial Project budget and of its successive revisions and to oversee the constant monitoring of Project costs to record status.
  • To monitor and control Project contract activities and all post award contract administration through to contract close-out. To ensure that all contracts are compliant with Total rules and best practices.
  • To co-ordinate the planning and progress control activities associated with the establishment and management of the overall Project Schedule and individual contract Work Time Schedules
  • To control the internal and external reporting of the Project to ensure appropriate content and quality of information and to liaise, as required with other projects Control Leaders (GMP, AGUP1, AGUP2, WIP, Solar), external authorities...
  • To provide/coordinate Project team with IT services and ensure adequacy of IT resources for Project needs.
  • To coordinate with HR the Project Personnel administration tasks, including contracted staff recruitment in close collaboration with requesting Managers.
  • To manage the Documentation control system for all project activities
  • Participate to the realization of the Project Referential Documents: Project Execution Plan (PEP), Project Quality Plan (PQP), Risk Register Budget.
