American Process Management (APM) is hiring a Project Controls Scheduler to support EPC industrial projects. This position will include the option to work from home with 50% travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the logic, activities, constraints, and milestones to provided fully integrated Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project schedules
  • Engage with project management, engineering, and construction teams to develop and maintain project and program schedules
  • Maintain resource loaded integrated master schedules
  • Support implementation of Earned Value Management
  • Conduct project site walk-down and coordinate with project teams to update schedule to reflect current status and work plan
  • Review and analyze schedules prepared by contractors
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and job specifications
  • Assess the impact of design and scope changes
  • Analyze and communicate all schedule changes, project delays, and areas of risk

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software
  • Knowledge of critical path method of scheduling
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
