Project Controls Specialist / Scheduler
Location: Wallingford, CT
Job type and Duration: Contract to Hire

The Project Controls Specialist will be primarily responsible for Primavera P6 Scheduling for the project management team.

• Develop Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 schedules.
• Create schedules and diagrams in Microsoft Visio.
• Set up Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in Oracle Primavera 6 or Microsoft Project scheduling software.
• Analyze and report on data from Oracle Primavera P6.
• Develop pre-programmed project scheduling reports in P6 and review and analyze backup documentation for accuracy.
• Ensure the entry of logic ties within the schedules.
• Create various schedule reports and determine appropriate reporting formats.
• Consult with the project controls team on schedule progress.
• Responsible for monitoring resource loading of a schedule.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. OR, Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Someone with around 5 years of scheduling / project control experience.
• Experience with Oracle Primavera P6.
