PROTEK Consulting is seeking a Project Coordinator to support our client's federal government project.

Qualified candidates are self-starters, detail oriented, and have a strategic mindset, exceptional communication, and strong organizational skills. Candidates are nimble team players who are comfortable collaborating and problem-solving issues from logistics to process improvements.

This position requires candidates to complete an in-depth background investigation to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistical support activities including the development of responses to a variety of daily requests from program managers, other Government agencies, Congress, and external parties (e.g., media, other vendors, etc.).
  • Document and track major management decisions and actions.
  • Coordinate and provide logistical support for small, medium and large executive council meetings, briefings, workshops, working groups, committees, conferences, boards, and additional operational activities. The frequency of the support varies by program (e.g. daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly).
  • Coordinate, draft, develop, prepare, finalize, provide, and distribute minutes, status reports, action items, meeting agenda and meeting notes.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Experience supporting virtual events on Zoom or similar platform
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP, Prince2)

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience using Google Suite of tools, Trello, and SmartSheets, Zoom
