Position Summary : The Project Coordinator will be highly qualified in project planning and scheduling, communication and reporting, documentation and record keeping as well as risk management and problem solving. Responsibilities: Liaise with managers and clients to define project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organizational goals. Project Planning & Scheduling: Align with the Events DC PMO to assist in developing project timelines, setting milestones, and ensuring that all tasks are assigned to the appropriate team members. Communication & Reporting: Serve as a liaison between team members, stakeholders, and management, providing regular status updates and reports on project progress. Coordinate with the Network Administrator and Events DC Security teams on the status of EventsDC's network and Security Posture. Document procedures and required guidelines around Events DC Cyber practices. Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of project activities, decisions, budgets, and deliverables to ensure accountability and transparency. Risk Management & Problem Solving: Identify potential risks or issues early, collaborate with the team to find solutions, and ensure that these challenges do not derail project progress. Fully dedicated resource to Events DC to support infrastructure, network and cyber projects. Assignments will be directed through Events DC's POCs. Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal results. Achieve organizational goals while adhering to standards and best practices. Ensure that all aspects of a project are organized and in conformance with timeline and delivery requirement. Develop and maintain project performance database that tracks overall progress and achievement of milestones. Assign and monitor resources effectively to boost project efficiency and maximize deliverables output. Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalate issues according to project work plan. Serve as point of communication between company teams and external resources. Deepen partnerships with outside resources, including third-party vendors and researchers. Performs other duties as assigned. Required skills and qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Three or more years of experience in project coordination. Experience in coordinating teams and clients. Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. skills and qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant field. Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional).
