Project Coordinator
SUMMARY
TheProject Coordinatorwill provide project and administrative support to a team of designers and architects for an interior design and architecture firm.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following, other duties may be assigned.
- Respond and follow-up with clients, vendors, and business partners as needed on behalf of the Project Manager(s).
- Assist Project Manager(s) in achieving financial targets and Company initiatives.
- Assist the Project Manager(s) in the development, implementation, and execution of the
business development plan. - Assist the Project Manager(s) with monthly billing/invoice review.
- Perform billable aspects of a project that may require client interface, such as, assist with opening new project numbers, city submittals, accompany team to project meetings, transcribe meeting notes, and mailings.
- Assist project teams with various task associated with the construction administration phase of a project.
- Assist in the coordination, organization, and tracking of multiple project team activities and efforts.
- Provide administrative support and office/Project Team administration.
- Prepare Business Development and networking research as required for the development,
implementation, and execution of the business development plan. - Assist with administrative task such as answering phones, greeting clients, helping with reception desk as needed.
- Assist with answering phones and coverage of front desk/reception as needed.
- Assist with office event planning and management including setup and takedown.
- Assist with general office organization and clean-up.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree (B.A.) or equivalent experience; degree in Business Administration or
Architecture but not required
- 3+ years of recent project coordination and/or administrative professional experience,
preferably in an architectural or construction firms
- Experience in work place interiors
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), BlueBeam and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat).
- Deltek Vision ProCore experience is a MUST or similar project-based ERP Software.
- Ability to work overtime on an as needed basis.
- Strong verbal and written business communication skills.
- Ability to problem-solve, both individually and as part of a project team.
- Able to work independently with minimal guidance, and a motivated self-starter.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is an Non-Exempt Full-Time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday to be discussed with direct supervisor.
TRAVEL
Travel may include attending off site meetings and work sessions in other local SAA Offices. Mileage will be reimbursed at predetermined market rate. Individual must possess a valid drivers license with a good driving record and have reliable transportation.
