Are you ready to join a growing hub of Société Générale wholesale banking in Warsaw?Currently we're seeking a data protection officer for our Business Management Office (BMO) team, part of Global Banking and Advisory business Unit (GLBA). GLBA/BMO aims at supporting the strategy, the development, and the transformation of the activity, while maintaining a solid and secure working framework. The multiple and growing challenges surrounding data have led to the creation of a data office that will be reinforced with project management capacity within Global Solution Center in Poland (GSC).Tasks and responsibilities: Perform the GLBA’s Data Usage Analyst (DUA) role, including: supporting the business representative in the creation and formalization of data usage requests facilitating communications with the various stakeholders (solicitation in the Legal, Compliance, IT security), to examine risks and validate data usages validating with Chief Data Officer (CDO) data usages considering experts’ opinions facilitating projects data questionnaires completion and following up on pre and post conditions Oversee data protection topics within GLBA, including the application of GDPR, Schrems II and banking secrecy legislations: being responsible for GLBA processes registry and its periodic review coordinating stakeholders on data protection issues related to projects or run activities Oversee data retention management (DRM) for GLBA in coordination with group initiatives: Producing DRM policies for GLBA Coordinating the implementation of DRM action plans related to purging and archiving Report on data protection Profile required Studies & experience: High education Project management skills and experience (at least 5 years): requirements identification, prioritization, structuration, planification, change management, ability to coordinate various stakeholders to achieve results Language skills: Effective communicator in English – able to present requirements and policies and gain buy-in French and/or Polish proficiency would be an advantage Technical, operational & Soft skills: Understanding of data protection, retention management, and Data Governance processes and principles Understanding of GLBA or wholesale activities Adaptability to review priorities depending on evolution of the context or department Ability to analyze complex problems and propose effective solutions Ability to maintain high standards of quality and deliver projects on time Why join us Société Générale Poland is a multi-category bank offering every employee the possibility to have several careers in a professional career path.
