Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Coordinator to join our Reconstruction team. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in assisting Project Managers with planning, executing, and closing projects effectively. Youll work closely with team members, subcontractors, and customers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Your key responsibilities will include tracking project activities, communication, risk management, and administrative support.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination:

  • Assist in the development of project plans and schedules.
  • Coordinate project activities and tasks among team members, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Track project progress and report key metrics to project managers.
  • Monitor project expenses and resource usage.

Communication and Documentation:

  • Maintain clear communication within project teams.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, status updates, and project documentation.
  • Organize and facilitate Work In Progress (WIP) meetings, including agendas and meeting minutes.
  • Ensure project-related information is accessible and well-organized.

Risk and Issue Management:

  • Identify and communicate potential project risks and issues to project managers.
  • Assist in developing and implementing risk mitigation plans.
  • Monitor and report on the resolution of issues.

Resource Management:

  • Ensure team members have the necessary tools and information for their tasks.
  • Assist in managing subcontractors and external vendors.

Quality Assurance:

  • Help implement and maintain quality control processes.
  • Monitor project deliverables to meet established quality standards.
  • Assist in conducting quality reviews with customers.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Maintain well-organized project files and documentation.
  • Assist with the procurement of materials and services related to projects.
  • Prepare and submit invoices and expense reports.

Customer Engagement:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Ability to pass background checks, driving, and drug screening.
  • Proven experience in project coordination or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies

Physical Requirements:

  • Primarily office-based with extensive computer use (typing, using a mouse, and viewing a screen).
  • Occasional light lifting of project materials, documents, or equipment.
  • Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods.

Work Environment:

  • Collaborative office setting with a dedicated workspace, including computer, phone, and necessary office supplies.
