Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to work in Chico. Hotel, meals, and mileage will be reimbursed. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for various tasks related to high voltage electrical construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside our Project Managers, Superintendents, and General Foreman to aid in daily planning and reporting duties
• Maintain and update construction schedules
• Coordinate with various stakeholders and subcontractors as our schedule changes
• Manage and coordinate new hire trainings and background checks
• Communicate daily construction activities to PM’s via Plan of the day
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and project-related communications
• Provide regular updates to the team on the project status, including progress, challenges, and solutions
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between different teams and departments involved in the construction project
• Address and resolve any construction-related issues, conflicts, or challenges that may arise during the project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management
• Experience coordinating construction projects, managing schedules, budgets, and resources
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Excel, Word, MS Project) and other relevant tools for scheduling and document management
• Understanding of electrical systems, construction processes and project management principles
• Effective communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
