We have brought our brightest minds together to respond to our client’s Project and Programme management objectives working on a hyperscale project of £1 billion plus.ResponsibilitiesAs a Project Director, you will be responsible for:Leading and managing large-scale and complex data centre projects in the real estate sector, from feasibility, design, construction and completionDeveloping and implementing project strategies, plans and large scale budgets on complex construction projectsEstablishing and maintaining effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout the projectMonitoring and reporting on project progress and other performance indicatorsManaging and mitigating risks and issuesPreparing and delivering written project communication materialsPreparing and presenting formal project progress and other reportsManaging and coordinating the client, contractors and designersAttending and chairing meetings and drafting minutes, etcOther responsibilities, to include:Developing and delivering presentation materials for client pitches, etcManaging and updating key information into the Turner & Townsend internal databaseProviding thought leadership and insights on the latest trends and innovations in the Data Centre real estate sectorQualificationsMinimum 12 years’ experienceRelevant qualification (project management or construction management)Member of a chartered institute , RICS / CIOB although not essentialGood knowledge of construction industry and Data Centre sector themesGood knowledge of project lifecycle and business case approvals processTrack record of delivering the construction of hyperscale Data Centre projects from inception to completionWhat experience we are looking forExtensive knowledge of and experience in large scale Data Centre projects in the real estate sectorExperience of master planning/strategic estate development and capital project planning for business case compilation is desirable.Demonstrable experience in client-facing roles at all levelsAdditional InformationAdditional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
