AtkinsRéalis is dedicated in engineering a better future for our planet and its people.Summary:Reporting to Executive Director – Design & Construction.Will be responsible for all aspects of civil scope (southeast segment). Overall responsibility for the scope including HSEQ, staffing, contract administration, design coordination, construction management, etc.Your role within the team:Project Leadership:Provide strategic direction and leadership for the entire project team.Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and consultants.Ensure alignment with organizational goals and project objectives.Civil-Structural:Manage all aspects related to construction of all Civil/Structural infrastructure including grading, bridges, retaining walls, roadway improvements, Stations, utilities, miscellaneous structures, and integration with Track and Systems.Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Monitor progress and address any technical challenges related to electrical components.Budget and Schedule Management:Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and cost control measures.Develop/Oversee project schedules, identifying critical milestones and dependencies.Implement risk mitigation strategies to avoid delays and cost overruns.Quality Assurance and Safety:Uphold safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.Implement quality control processes to ensure adherence to specifications.Address any safety or quality issues promptly.Stakeholder Communication:Regularly update project stakeholders on progress, challenges, and achievements.Foster positive relationships with community members, local authorities, and other relevant parties.Contract Management:Manage contract negotiations, change orders, and claims.Ensure compliance with contractual obligations.Why choose AtkinsRéalis as an employer?Because we offer:The opportunity to work on various major projects for internal and external clients.An exciting environment where work-life balance is important.A wide array of learning and development opportunities.Competitive pay, flexible benefits, an employee share plan, and a defined contribution pension plan.A work environment focused on health and safety.The ideal candidate:Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction and project management, specifically within rail transit projects delivery.Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale transit projects.Familiarity with design-build contracts, construction of Transit projects including bridges, roadway improvements.Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.Are you up for this challenge?
