Project Director, Rail and Transit Infrastructure

Responsibilities: Leading multi-disciplinary teams for preliminary and detail design for linear infrastructure projects and programs as a Project Manager or Project Director. Taking ownership for all aspects of the management of projects from proposal to close-out, including managing teams, sub-consultants, budgets, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Interfaces with GHD Design and design team (potentially located internationally) Accountable to contractor questions, reviews shop drawings and attends sites during construction as required Prepare, track and administer project budgets Liaises with clients, participates in business development and promotional activities for the company. What You will bring to the team: Registered P. Eng in Ontario Be accredited with PMP certification (or working towards) Experience working for Regional Municipalities or Local Transit Agencies 15+ years of project management experience on multi-discipline engineering teams with experience in Bus Rapid Transit and/or Light Rail Transit Projects Project Delivery in an alternate project delivery (P3, DB, PDB), and experience in managing teaming arrangements with contractors and consultants Experience a project through alliance delivery model is highly desirable Reports to: Rail and Transit Lead in Ontario As a diverse and inclusive organization, we encourage individual achievement and recognize the strength of a diverse workforce.
