Marie, ON, the Project Engineer will report to the Project Manager and will have a wide range of duties. You will be part of a team that provides solutions over a diverse range of engineering, including Municipal, Transportation, Environmental, Drainage and Hydrology, Land Development, and Utility Scale Renewable Energy Facilities.What You’ll Do:The Project Engineer will be part of the Engineering team. You will:Perform pre-engineering inspections and surveysComplete, check, and review technical deliverables including reports, technical notes, drawings, and engineering calculationsPrepare plans, proposals, specifications, supporting documents, reports, and permit applicationsStormwater management, drainage and hydrology, wastewater conveyance, potable water distribution, earthworks, transportation, cost estimating, and other supporting areasPrepare Site Plans including site services, grading, drainage, and stormwater management plansWork with on-site sewage disposal systems and private water suppliesUndertake preliminary and final linear infrastructure, road, and street designSubdivision development – draft plans of subdivision, site servicing, grading, drainage, and subdivision agreementsPerform construction inspectionsAssist with project management and construction administrationLiaise with clients, build client relations, and advance business developmentWho You Are:You have a P.Eng. licence or are a Civil Engineering Intern working towards oneYou have 0-10 years of experience in the civil consulting industryYou exercise independent judgment within defined parameters and in alignment with business objectivesYou can pivot and alter approach to accomplish desired resultsYou are trusted and provided freedom to work independently but also contribute to the overall team successWhat You Should Bring:The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Civil Engineering or a related program.
