Project Engineer

JOB- Project Engineer LOCATION- Near Bournemouth TERM- Permanent SALARY- £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience) My client is a specialist manufacturer for Aerospace and Defence industries. They are looking for a Project Engineer to join their team near Bournemouth on a permanent basis. The Project Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: 2 or more years of Project Engineering experience Knowledge of or experience working with Composites and GRP Materials Experienced in/knowledge of Aerospace, Defence or similar industries would be ideal but not required Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject PRINCE2 or a similar Project qualifications would be ideal An educational or hands-on background in Engineering Technical Mechanical Engineering knowledge Be able to read engineering drawings Strong client-facing experience Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver results on time and budget Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team Be flexible to travel overseas as required Responsibilities include: Identifying and managing full lifecycle projects, from bid generation to manufacture and delivery Successfully delivering projects on time and on budget Organising the supply chain Producing detailed works schedules, resource and projects plans Liaising with clients as required keeping them up to date with project progress Working with design, purchasing and production departments Presenting project plans and reports to management Reporting progress, managing risks and responding to issues Maintaining technical documentation as required Working in a small, multidisciplined team If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
