Project Engineer Rolling contract Hybrid working - Gaydon Up to £32 per hour (Inside IR35) *Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU.* About the company I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Gaydon, who are seeking a Supplier & Business Performance Analyst to join their team Job Description As a Project Engineer, your main responsibilities are: The Model Build and NGD team is responsible for the planning, co-ordination, and delivery of (Non-Geometric / Technical) engineering data required to build simulation (CAE) models. You will develop close working relationships with the Engineering Teams that design programme specific components and systems and deliver the associated engineering data required to parameterise full vehicle models for our simulation activities. Through these relationships you will ensure robust delivery plans are in place to deliver collated consistent data on time and to the necessary quality. You will be part of a collaborative, iterative and agile team of engineers performing similar tasks at different phases of programme delivery, your focus will be in the latter more stable phases as the designs mature towards production Qualifications / Skills needed Degree Qualified Experience of project management, planning and delivery Be capable of expediting successful delivery through assertiveness, strong interpersonal skills, and negotiation with a wide range of multi-functional teams. Knowledge of a range of CAD, CAE and other virtual assessment processes, methods and tools A good communicator with the ability to articulate technical concepts succinctly to a range of people with various management, experience, and skill levels. Knowledge of whole vehicle automotive product design and engineering Why work through Contechs?
