We are an Australian civil and electrical construction business that delivers services to a diverse range of industries including the private and public sector, state and federal governments across Australia.We are self-performers who have been doing this for more than forty years and take immense pride in the work we produce and the long-standing relationships we build.WHAT WE OFFERCompetitive remuneration and packageMetro project - spend more time at homeLong-term permanent employment with career growth and progressionDiscounted Private Health – HBF & MedibankAnnual FLU Vac’sNovated Lease via PaywiseService RecognitionEmployee Referral ProgramEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your familyAlignment to a company with a sustainable growth strategy within infrastructure and transport in NSWABOUT THE ROLEWe are proud of the work we produce and the long-standing relationships we build and are now looking for a Project Engineer to be part of our Heathcote Road Project to help deliver civil and earthworks packages, structures and underground services.Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:Contributing to the planning and delivery of assigned work areas in accordance with Contract requirements and company procedures.Monitor and manage performance of safety, time, cost and quality of assigned work areas in accordance with approved plansProviding (and seeking where necessary) technical advice to (and from) relevant personnelManage the performance of assigned sub-contractors and suppliers in accordance with their agreementsDevelop an understanding of the project’s commercial requirements, and take ownership of assigned commercial aspectsWorking collaboratively within immediate team and with other teams by actively supporting and contributing to their effortsEnsuring a safe working environment in compliance with Project HSEQ PlansABOUT YOUYou will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:Tertiary qualifications (e.g. Bachelor in Engineering) Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, ideally associated with road/ pavements/ transport constructionEffective engineering project planning and scheduling capabilitiesCommercial understanding of contract and project cost control management in the civil engineering industry (e.g., understands productivity and measure, forecasting)Advanced understanding of established HSEQ systems and principlesOUR CULTUREAt Ertech, our people are fundamental to our success.
