What we do.
This fantastic opportunity will be based at our Bakkavor Pizza site in Holbeach St Marks, Lincolnshire. The site specialises in making chilled pizzas and is 11 miles from Spalding, 13.5 miles from Boston, 18 miles from Wisbech, 23 miles from King's Lynn and 29 miles from Peterborough.
About the role.
Manage projects effectively to deliver on time and within budget in accordance with agreed scopes, ensuring that engineering project work and requests are documented and tracked accurately and to a good standard.
Accountabilities:
Identify and deliver improvement projects within the factory and engineering department
Work closely, and liaise with, factory and site services engineering to ensure timely project delivery
Carry out comprehensive data analysis in key areas to support development of improvement plans and verify project success - good grasp of Microsoft Office is required
Manage external contractors and communicate with suppliers to scope and deliver
Manage the site's CMMS and PM strategy within, to ensure compliance against internal and Customer Codes of Practice - professionally and systematically defines, designs, develops, monitors and refines an Asset Maintenance Plan that will include:
Value-added preventive maintenance tasks
Effective utilisation of predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies designed to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems
Utilise data analysis techniques that can include:
Statistical Process Control
Reliability modelling and prediction
Fault Tree Analysis
Six Sigma (6σ) Methodology
Root-cause and Root-Cause Failure Analysis, Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System About you.
Engineering background
Driven, self-motivated, systematic approach to problem resolution
Ability to influence others via data and work to specific deadlines
Flexible working attitude to ensure required work levels are achieved
Excellent communication, reporting and training skills
Degree in relevant Engineering Discipline What you'll receive.
