Job Title: Senior Project Engineer – (ENG)

This project involves delivering an offshore HVDC transmission system to connect wind energy to the mainland grid. As the EPC contractor, we handle the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of topside platforms, jackets, and subsea cables. Our focus includes optimizing designs, ensuring compliance with offshore standards, and coordinating seamless integration of high-voltage equipment within strict timelines and regulatory frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the engineering, preparation, and execution of major EPC oil and gas projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and standards.
- Develop engineering designs, method statements, specific procedures, and as-built drawings in line with contractual obligations.
- Coordinate with trades, project management teams, clients, and third parties to ensure smooth execution and timely resolution of technical issues.
- Monitor progress, manage risks, and implement updates to engineering deliverables, schedules, and execution plans.
- Prepare and review project reports, deliverables lists, manpower histograms, and schedules.
- Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and regular inspections to maintain quality and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Ensure proper documentation, record-keeping, and submission of progress and status reports for weekly and monthly meetings.
- Supervise subordinates, provide guidance, and manage resource planning to achieve project objectives efficiently.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
- Comply with all safety, quality, and environmental policies, and actively participate in safety initiatives and inspections.
Requirements Education:
- Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Desirable: Project management certification or advanced training in related fields.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in engineering companies handling EPC projects.
- Experience with project management systems, international engineering codes/standards, and risk/change management practices.
Technical Competencies:
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word/Excel/Project, and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of engineering codes, offshore construction, and occupational health & safety standards.
- Expertise in managing multiple projects, organizing resources, and meeting deadlines.

- Team-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of mentoring junior staff.
- Flexibility, cultural awareness, and ability to work under pressure.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to conduct site visits and work in Middle Eastern weather conditions as needed.
